I thought this was worth an update. Dad was finally able to go back down to the gym today for physical therapy. On the way down, Dad told Reuben, "I want to thank you for what you've done. I'd like to take my first [real] steps here." (Reuben couldn't say enough nice things to and about Dad today. He told him, "Leo, you're the reason I became a physical therapist. Watching you progress has been nothing short of miraculous.") So Dad stood, supporting himself for just a minute or so on the parallel bars. Then, leaning against Reuben he walked three steps forward and three steps back. It was really exhausting, but he did it!
And his vision has improved to the point where he could see the beautiful view outside the gym windows. Icing on the cake.

Ref: Move... My most favorite motivational phrase is: There are no problems in life; just challenges and what is life without a challenge. Kinda goes
along with Leo's thoughts. See,
great minds think alike! Leo, keep your sprits up and continue to fight the "good fight." Russ
That's the same reason why I became a therapist too! I wish I could have been there to see it. I'm sure it was a beautiful thing. When you get to Murray maybe I will be able to watch you make another milestone! Miss you lots, and praying lots too. Love, Emmy (and Zack)
