A little more about food

Today the doctor said he isn't seeing signs of the ileus, so this evening they cranked Dad's nose food up to full capacity. Unfortunately Dad has other ideas on his mind. Multiple times during our visit today he asked me to hook him up with some real food. Sadly, that will have to wait a bit.

In other news, the infection Dad has is antibiotic resistant something or other (it's not MRSA, it's something I haven't heard of). That means if you go to visit him you need to put on gloves and a gown. Overall, though, he is looking good. And I figure if he's worried about food, he's probably feeling pretty good, too.

I want to encourage anyone who visits Dad to post comments on here. I'm sure everyone would appreciate hearing how he is from someone other than me!

Hello, Rachael, Leo, and all your family. I used to work for Leo at CEM in the 90s. I live in Colorado now, and just want you to know that so many people are praying for Leo and wishing for a full recovery. As I've said to people before, Leo wears a white hat (as in, "He's one of the good guys.")

You hang tough, sir. We're very much with you, and you're in our thoughts.
