So, I update the blog from the Day Room at the hospital and as soon as I finish, I walk back down the hall where the physical therapist has gotten Dad up and sitting in a chair! I can't turn my back on him for a second!
Apparently the PT asked Dad, "Are you feeling okay?" Shake. "Do you want to do some therapy?" Nod. Even feeling sick, Dad is so ready to do everything he can to get better. And the PT said Dad was able to help so much more when he stood him up to get into the chair. When they started this last week, the PT was doing most of the lifting. Today Dad was almost able to stand on his own. Of course after sitting up, marching in place (a breeze when the PT says, "your left, your left, your left, right, left" :D ), and leaning forward in his chair, it was the PT who had to do most of the work to get Dad back in bed. He was pretty wiped out.
Sick or not, Dad can sure turn around a blah day!

Dear Teddie, Leo, Raschel, Becky, and family,
When I got in to see Leo yesterday, he was obviously wiped out from the therapy. I sang to him, quoted scripture, and prayed for him. He took my hand and lifted it high a number of times. He looked at me and nodded he knew who I was. We spent a half hour together. Loving and praying for Leo and all of you today.
